Your quote for moving to Cyprus
Every quote is based on your own move. For complete household moves we usually do a virtual survey by video call: you show us your furniture and belongings, and with our experience in estimating volumes we prepare a personalised proposal.
During the call we also check whether any items need special packing, look at the access to your home and talk about dates. You can ask any questions you have.
The price depends mainly on the volume of your move (in m³), the origin and destination, whether it goes by groupage or in a full container, the services you need and the access at both homes. Every quote is tailored, free and without obligation, and it is detailed so you know exactly what is included.
Our service is designed for complete moves or larger volumes, for clients who want a move that is well looked after rather than the lowest price. We don’t ship single items such as a few boxes or a bicycle: for that, a parcel service will work out cheaper.
Packing, dismantling and reassembly
Our usual service includes dismantling any furniture that needs it and protecting it properly for the journey. We normally also pack your personal belongings into boxes: our team brings all the materials on the day of collection, and they are included in the quote.
We adapt the packing to each item, so furniture, fragile pieces and valuables travel with the protection they need.
In Cyprus we unwrap and reassemble your furniture. If you like, we can also unpack the boxes and take away the leftover materials for recycling.
Sea freight to Cyprus: groupage or full container
Moves to Cyprus go by sea. Depending on the volume, there are two options:
- Full container (FCL, Full Container Load): a shipping container just for your move, loaded in Spain and unloaded in Cyprus. The loading date is agreed with you. In many places a lorry with a container can’t park outside the house; in that case we collect or deliver with smaller vehicles.
- Groupage (LCL, Less than Container Load): a good option if you are taking mostly boxes and only a few pieces of furniture. After collection we take your belongings to our warehouse in Spain and pack them into a liftvan, a very strong multi-layer cardboard crate on a pallet, which travels in a container together with other goods. The collection date is agreed with you; delivery depends on the container departure and the route.
Choosing between groupage and a full container is mainly a question of volume and price: both options are equally safe. In your quote we recommend the one that suits your move best.
Although Cyprus is part of the European Union, a move arriving by sea needs some simple customs formalities. We take care of these together with our agent in Cyprus.
Storage in Spain
Many clients have to leave their home in Spain on a fixed date but can’t receive their move in Cyprus yet, for example because they are still looking for a house. In that case we store your belongings in Spain (in Barcelona, Madrid, Málaga, Valencia, Bilbao, Alicante, Granada and other cities) until you are ready to receive them.
Transport insurance
We look after your move carefully: furniture is protected, boxes are packed with care, and everything is loaded and unloaded properly. Even so, there is always a small risk during transport, such as an accident, an incident while loading or unloading, or even theft. That’s why we offer transport insurance, for your peace of mind.
The insurance is based on the value you declare, and to prepare the valuation of your belongings we give you access to our own app, made to measure so it’s easy to use. You’ll receive all the details together with your quote.

Yes, although the formalities are simple. For your move to enter Cyprus by sea, a customs document called the T2L is needed. We take care of this with our agent in Cyprus and let you know which documents we need from you.
We don’t do home visits. For complete moves we usually do a virtual survey by video call, in which you show us your furniture and belongings. For smaller moves a list of what you want to take is often enough.
