Moving by truck
This is quite straight forward. The moving crew protects your goods, and load the good into a truck. There are two different options:
Direct transport. You can choose the collection day (depending on availaibility), and the transport is direct from origin to destination. This is a good option if the distance between collection and delivery is not too big, and if you have to do the move urgently. The size of the truck used depends on the volume of your move.
Part-load or groupage truck. Your move would be transported in a large trucks, together with the moves of other people that have to move. This is usually the best moving option, although it is not always the fastest. The price depends on the volume, the access situations and the service you require.
Moving by sea container
Moving by sea container
If you are moving from Spain to another continent, or over a large distance, then moving by sea container might be the best option. If you move overseas, then the usual way of working is that the moving company wraps the furniture and packs the boxes. There are two different options:
Moving by sole use sea container or FCL (Full Container Load). We would use a container only for your move. No other clients or other goods would be transported in your container. This is the best option if you want to move boxes and furniture over a large distance (overseas).
Moving by part-load container or LCL (Loose Container Load). You goods would be packed and collected at your home in origin, and crated into a liftvan (cardboard crate). The liftvan has several advantages over using a wooden crate. The cardboard liftvan is light weight, easy to assemble, ecological, relatively cost effective and does not have to be fumigated. The liftvan goes into a sea container together with other goods, and would be delivered and unpacked at your new home at destination. This is the best option if you don’t ship furniture, and if you don’t have too many boxes. If you have a large quantity of boxes, or if you want to bring an entire household, then the sea container would be the best way. Both options are equally safe. The desicion depends on the volume.

Airfreight
Airfreight might be the best option if you only want to ship reduce number of boxes, and if the move has to arrive fast over a big distance. In this option we would not recommend to ship any furniture. It is recommendable for moves between one and two cubic metres gross of boxes only. Wisse Moving would pack and collect the boxes, palletize them, and deliver them to your new home. Obviously we would take care of customs clearance as well.
